US ARMY SEPARATE MODULAR BRIGADES

HEADQUARTERS ELEMENT GUIDONS

Headquarters companies (HHC), troops (HHT) and batteries (HHB) of separate modular brigades are authorized guidons of the same colors and design as the corresponding organizational flag of the unit. US Army guidons are now made of heavyweight rayon banner cloth, but serviceable older examples made of wool or cotton bunting are still in use. Dimensions are 20 inches at the hoist by 27 inches on the fly with a 10-inch fork. Insignia and numerals are applied to read properly on both sides of the guidon.
The 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team and the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team are both Army National Guard units. Of the remaining units depicted, those on the left belong to the Active Army and those on the right belong to the Army National Guard.
