The Division Artillery (DIVARTY) of the 7th Infantry Division consisted of a headquarters battery, three FA battalions equipped with 105mm towed howitzers and one with 155mm towed howitzers. Each 105mm battalion was in direct support (DS) of a maneuver brigade, while the 155mm battalion provided general support and reinforcing (GSR) fires.
