ARMY & AIR FORCE FLAGS
 

The Chilean Army and Air force each have a standard displaying its coat of arms on red field for the former and a light blue field for the latter. Flags of rank for generals and senior officers are red with silver gray stars for the Army and light blue with dark blue stars for the Air Force. Only one officer of each service holds four-star rank, which is synomonious with the appointment of Commander-in-Chief. The one-star Army rank flag is used by colonels serving as military attaches or holding certain other special appointments.

Flag Proportions: Chilean military flags are made in 2:3 proportions.
