The 210th Field Artillery Brigade, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, controlled four FA battalions: three with 203mm self-propelled howitzers and one with the Lance surface-to-surface missile. All four were earmarked for eventual conversion to the Multiple Lauch Rocket System).
