In 1988,
the 207th Military Intelligence Brigade was
stationed at Ludwigsburg in the Federal Republic
Of Germany under US VII Corps. Of its three
subordinate battalions, the 2nd MI operated
specialized fixed-wing electronic survaillence
aircraft, the 307th MI provided operations and
communications support for MI missions, and the
511th MI conducted counterintelligence, prisoner
interrogation, and long range ground
serveillance missions.
Organizational flags, colors and guidons
for units of the 207th MI Brigade were of the
standard Army patterns for the Military
Inteligence Corps, using the branch colors
oriental blue and silver gray, with the
exception of F-51 IN, which had an infantry
pattern guidon.
