Parading the Colors

Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 23 October 2008: Soldiers of the 130th Engineer Brigade prepare to uncase the organizational flag as the brigade is reactivated after its transfer from Germany. Ranged behind the brigade adjutant are the National Color, the cased flag of the 130th and the organizational colors of its three subordinate battalions. Visible on the left are the guidons of the brigade and battalion headquarters companies; visible on the right are the guidons of several separate companies. All organizational colors and guidons display the branch colors of the Corps of Engineers: scarlet and white. The guidon on the extreme left is that of HHC, 130th Engineer Brigade; the brigade's organizational flag is of the same design, with yellow fringe. Also note the unit citation and campaign streamers attached to the staffs of the organizational colors.
