101st AIRBORNE DIVISION SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE (UEx) Unit Guidons

The 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade was established by reflagging the separate 101st Sustainment Brigade. The brigade consists of a special troops battalion and a division sustainment support battalion. Like other UEx brigades it is modular and can be configured for specific missions by attaching additional units. The 129th Division Sustainment Support Battalion was formerly designated as a combat sustainment support battalion, consisting of a headquarters detachment and three separate companies. Upon the battalion's redesignation, the separate companies became organic to the battalion. Additional units are attached and detached as necessary. The mission of the 9th Theater Gateway is to process personnel in and out of overseas theaters of operations.
